I moved here in 1973 from Los Angeles.. I met my beautiful Southern wife here and was married in the 1st Baptist on Market street. Our first child was born in Singing River Hospital. Pascagoula is a gracious place of hard working, honest, brave people. Why must the liberal press ignore its plight and focus only on the moaning from New Orleans.
God's Speed Pascagoula. We miss you.

Thank you for posting this video. I was born and raised in 'Goula, it's so sad to see so much of it is gone (including my parents house). They lived just off Washington ave for almost 50 years, and it's all gone in one day. Thank you for reminding the rest of the world that this storm did not just hit New Orleans, as the media seems to think.
I just wish there was some way to show what's not there. If you're not from here -- then it's hard to understand the point of six minutes of footage of nothing. If you're from here though -- then you understand that the beachfront was once lined with lovely homes -- homes, as in places where actual people once lived.
