@jDwese ya! it was the heat shield right over the catalytic converter, but i couldnt access it myself, so i let the garage do it for 30$

Any luck figuring out what the problem was? I am hearing something that sounds the same, but I've had my timing belt, water pump, and transmission fluid done recently...don't know about the idler and tensionner pully.

my 2004 accord v6 coupe is doing the samething and has been bothering me for a month. i replaced the cat but it was the wrong one. you say its coming from the cat behind the radiator, i hear the noise coming form there but know if i can do the work myself kinda a tight spot. thanks for the info ...

so what was the noise? its sept now, must be fixed by now, please post, Im thinking it was a muffler bearing or the blinker fluid was low. but thats cuz I smoke alot of good kronic

Just replace any tire, 3 random screws, (10mm) the driver door and make sure that you have only a max of 2 cup holders. That should fix it. Your welcome
