*Update* problem fixed, it was a heat shield over the catalytic converter, thank you

1st of all, i have to let you know there is someone in the car pressing the gaz.

the noise is much louder when the car is rolling (pulling weight), uphill or when i start in 2nd gear, hopefully not a transmission problem. (i couldnt pickup the noise with this cellphone camera while rolling with the road noise so i didnt post that video but its crazy loud when passing next to parked cars).

the sound is the loudest under the front of the car, i filmed the magnaflow catback just so people won't say its an exhaust rattle.

  • my 2004 accord v6 coupe is doing the samething and has been bothering me for a month. i replaced the cat but it was the wrong one. you say its coming from the cat behind the radiator, i hear the noise coming form there but know if i can do the work myself kinda a tight spot. thanks for the info ...

  • so what was the noise? its sept now, must be fixed by now, please post, Im thinking it was a muffler bearing or the blinker fluid was low. but thats cuz I smoke alot of good kronic

  • @Cannamechanic heat shield around cat

  • Just replace any tire, 3 random screws, (10mm) the driver door and make sure that you have only a max of 2 cup holders. That should fix it. Your welcome

  • @TylerShredding why did you bother writing that, life is short my friend, time is precious

  • @PiercingTruth just fixed it , thanks

  • get a can of compression...should fix it

  • @jDwese ya! it was the heat shield right over the catalytic converter, but i couldnt access it myself, so i let the garage do it for 30$

  • Any luck figuring out what the problem was? I am hearing something that sounds the same, but I've had my timing belt, water pump, and transmission fluid done recently...don't know about the idler and tensionner pully.
