@exranio Well, think about it. Who knew about Ness before SSB came out? He was the most out of place character there. Nobody knew who he was. Or at least, few people did.
Same thing with this game. It's quirky and it's a sleeper hit. Or at least, it has a cult following.

In the next Smash Bros. (if there is one), Terry should be the game's WTF character. SSB had Ness, SSBM had Game & Watch, SSBB has R.O.B., so why can't SSB4 (if it'll be made) have a character from a quirky game? I mean, they put Ness in there.

Lame trailer.
By the way, rayman070, The topscreen "looks" different in order to actually leave a feeling of alienation. As you may know, Terry, the protagonist, comes from planet earth, and the professor on the other hand, comes from an unknown planet. Funny thing, Contact breaks the 4th wall, because the professor actually talks to you most of the time, instead of talking to Terry.
