IMO there wasn't a big difference but I liked the 108 a little more. Sounded a bit creamier to me.

Gearmandude, What kind of volume levels, physical, do you use while recording..? You have great tone. I know that a dead amp to the ear will sound great with a mic right up to it while kind of... off to the user. Help please?

BC-108 - sounds slightly brighter
BC-183 - the pick attack seems to sputter a little crazier, i think...

yeah i like the bc183 seems like more raw sound and analogman with match a bc182 and a bc183 to make it crazier hahahhaha
