From the 2006 album "The God That Never Was".

Matti Kärki - Vocals
David Blomqvist - Guitar / Bass
Martin Persson - Guitar / Bass
Fred Estby - Drums

Lyrics:

Ruled by ruin the city of god
Collective madness of the holy squad
Divine violations of dignity
Corrupted secrecy

Hordes of the fallen
Lost and slain
Not epic but insane

Abolition of Christianity
Termination of religious greed
Where no ghost is holy the mind is free
Retribution for persecution
All religions adversary
Where no ghost is holy the blind shall see

The essence of contradiction brings
Blind faith built on sins
Propaganda of unhealing scars
The catholic cancer wont reach this far

Final silence of the battlefield
Where no god is holy the church will kneel
Non-religious eternally

  • This cannot be.I heard about Dismember breaking up a months ago or so and I didn't even care about it,but after listening to this song I became addicted to them.Unforutnately,I will never get chance to see them live. Why does this always happen to me?

  • @jefroxslayer91 Old school MELODIC death metal songs, you mean. This song is all Gothenburg.

  • the sound of the guitars is magical

  • Why the hell did I only bother to listen to their first album?!

  • Were they playing out of Solid State amps? I know they used HM 2 but there's no mistaking that sort of tone

  • @jefroxslayer91

Except for it's not old school!

  • I fucking love this. Can't praise it enough. Melodeath bands everywhere can learn from this.

  • Reminds me of Kill Zone.

  • @KillerMetalUploads it sounds like chainsaws chainsawing eachother.
