This is short film I made with some friends about what is means to be a woman in San Francisco. It's also an entry for a contest sponsored by creators of the documentary 'Flying: Confessions of a free woman'. The original 'Flying' documentary is about a women (Jennifer Fox) that records the intimate details of her life for 3+ years. It shows a honest and at times unglamorous look at her and other women's lives round the world.

Here is the trailer for the original 'Flying' documentary:

  • I would love to know these girls

I don't know enough people like them.

  • From "does he really like me?" to "Do I like this man?" Is the best change a woman can make in her life.

  • I'm wondering if the culture and the mindset of women in the USA/CA are that much different to those in Holland. You can most probably write many books about this single subject. More than the 500 characters here. For instance, in Holland the divorce rate is about 35% in the first 5 year, 75% of those divorces are applied by women. Which in itself could raise an eyebrow.

  • Nearly at the end of the vid it is mentioned that she found that many women are thinking "I'm not good enough" and her neighbor mentions that it was a great revelation to her that she found that she began to think; "do I really like this guy" instead of "I wonder if he likes me". It sounds very insecure and sounds like they feel like a

will-lessness victim that drifts wherever the waves of the oceans may take her.
