MAAAAAN!! Wagner Alumni... WOW.. They were New Direction before New Direction was in existance. THIS song is from their SECOND album. I was living in Philly when they were hot! Their first album had a song Never Seen The Righteous. When they would come to a musical and start THAT song!!??! THe roof would blow off!! Those horns that you hear were LIVE..NOT in the studio..LIVE when they sang at musical they weould come full blast!! I loved Wagner Alumni.!!

a great song ! years ago in the late 90's i sang with the choir for about 2-4 months before i took some time away lost contact with mrs. Farmer. when i first joined the choir i was given a tape with songs that i had to memorize & rehearse . one of the songs was 99 & 1/2 won't do. this was before me joining the choir i think bro. Wendal sang lead. i lost my tape and haven't been able to find this song anywhere if you or any has it please post it. it would be a great blessing for me. thank you !

Wow....the memories!
Johnzoe777, hopefully you can help me out. Many, many years ago I heard The Wagner Alumni Choir sing "Working on a Building" under the direction of Barbara Ward Farmer. The concert actually took place at Wagner Jr High. This was the best arrangement/rendition of the song I have ever heard A young man named Wendal (can't remember the last name) sang lead. I absolutely cannot find their
version ANYWHERE. If you can - and would be kind enough to post, I would be eternally grateful.
