  • I have the Harbercraft 2225 Discovery Hardtop, definately a notch down from their upscale Kingfisher line but still a great boat for fishing the local Victoria/Sooke water front .....Question: what is the cord & hoop you appear to have your downrigger line running through ? is that just to make pulling the line in close easier ? (haven't seen a set-up like that before)

  • @Projoiner1 It's a Scotty weight retreiver and yes you're right. It's for pulling the line in. It makes it a lost easier especially when the boom is all the way out.

  • i have a few questions. what kind of boat is that? who makes it, how long? etc. i am looking to buy another boat and really love the one you use in this vid. any info is appriciated

  • @DuckKiller1327 It's a Kingfisher 2725 available at your local Harbercraft/Kingfisher dealer. It was a dream to fish out of and to film off of.

  • Got all that...no problems. However, what holds your second clip in position. I am guessing the first clip is on the weight yes? what is the second clip attached to? A loop in the downrigger line?
