Governor Steve Beshear signed House Bill 281 at Central High School Magnet Career Academy. The bill relates to interscholastic athletics and declaring an emergency; it requires coaches to complete training on recognizing and treating concussions and head injuries; it also identifies actions required before an athlete with a suspected concussion or head injury may return to play.
