Jan 2011 -- Shane has recently turned 16 and put more than 4,000 miles on the car without ANY incidents. He takes outstanding care of the vehicle and has grown to become a very responsible and mature teenager.

Feb 2010 -- My wife and I ordered a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS as a surprise birthday gift for our fifteen year old son. This was a complete surprise and he had absolutely no idea that the car was his. On another note, I appreciate everyone's concern for his well-being, however I think it is more responsible for a parent to teach a teenager how to drive than to pretend that they're not going to drive fast. The car is not the danger; an inexperienced driver is usually what causes injury or death, regardless of their age.

  • feel so happy for him hope im able to have kids and do this for them someday

  • compare to other people's reaction, he won't appreciate that car. its way to much for a kid his age. give it to me instead. lol

  • NICE COOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLL

  • Its one thing for a spoiled rich kid to get a sweet ride. But in this case...you can obviously tell they had money..but the kid really appreciated it. He looked deserving of it. I hope to have kids one day so i can do the same. Awesome parents!

  • my dad got me a 98 mustang:(

  • I feel so happy for you right now, that's the nicest thing I've seen parents do for their kid in a long time.

Don't get me wrong, I was just as grateful when my parents bought me my first car this christmas, but a 1992 mini cooper doesn't really compare to something like this!

  • He was really happy, he didn't show it because he was in shock.

  • @terohiirou most teens in my school lust for this car, and aren't aware of the existence of the GT-R. What losers!

  • see? money can buy happiness.

  • was it a stick shift?
