Mosqueda Center Open House

On October 25, 2011, Reading and Beyond held an open house event at our new home at the Mosqueda Community Center in Southeast Fresno. Reading and Beyond was chosen to operate and maintain the flagship community center in partnership with the City of Fresno. The purpose of this one-stop-shop facility is to align "cradle-to-career" programs and services by establishing a center within walking distance for families. Among those in attendance were Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin, District 5 Councilmember Sal Quintero, and our Board of Directors.

Reading And Beyond is dedicated to improving the academic success of children. 

From birth through high school, we work with children and their families, giving them the tools they need to achieve.

Our programs prepare children for kindergarten, tutor school-age students to grade-level reading, teach parents to support them in school, and help families overall by encouraging healthy lifestyle habits.
