The trumpet solo's in the play was good but the first note of the song was a failure
-
@MusicWonderz the trumpet uses a str. mute...
Before you wish to "make fun" of anybody make sure taht you know what youre talking about :P
It's clarinet and trumpet who plays this solo...

The slurring of notes especially by the woodwinds are very impressive and add a lot of texture... The crash cymbal player needs to play more appropriate dynamics to blend with the band at the beginning of the march, but seemed to be better about it towards the end.

Thrilling music making, and a great conductor for whom you would want to give everything you can possibly give. Passionate stuff!
-
@MusicWonderz youre hearing the sound from the back of the concert hall... youre closer to the brass instruments there... that's why the trumpets are louder (because it's not filmed from the audience ^^ )
-
@cascol1 Straight mute doesn't matter. Mutes are not meant to "mute" the volume, only the sound, if that's news you... Trumpet is STILL playing too loud and oboes play it too with trumpet and clarinet. Look at the part.
Make sure that you know what you're talking about before you "correct" people.

@cascol1 LMFAO Trumpet solo? it's oboe, clarinet and trumpet... Trumpets just tend to have egoes the size if God knows what and play a LITTLE bit loud...
-
could someone point out where that f is when the euphoniums screwed up, because f is easy.
-
your baritones need to work on their ranges, there f sounded horrible.
Everyone who has ever played in a band has played this piece, and this video brings back memories. Because I can't read the characters, I am curious to know what band this is. I notice that they are wearing uniforms.
