For me, this song describes the way I used to be. I was the kind of woman that let people walk all over me. I'm still on the long road to finding myself, my courage, and my safety. I'm a cutter. and at one point, I had stopped for like 8 months, and thought I had it under control, but I was wrong. I'm still working on getting better, but it is a hard road... and I'm scared to go down the path alone. My parents have both passed, and I have no siblings... I'm the only surviving member of my family
