I'm getting my masters in environmental engineering and this stuff is great. the water quality benefits are outstanding. concrete and impervious pavements can cause major damage to creeks and local water sources.
Concrete parking lots are green—runoff is low toxicity and cooler than from asphalt surfaces and the concrete can contain recycled materials (fly ash, slag, recycled concrete aggregate). All this can yield LEED credits.
-Asphalt is soft. This means that concrete will stand up to heavy loads better and will not deform even if heavy vehicles are parked on it. (does this make pervious asphalt life even shorter-as material compacts do you lose porosity?? or is it replaced by then lol)
-Both pervious systems need water or vacuum cleaning at some pt but one will be replaced sooner and drive the maintance cost up
-the lifespan of both products does not even compare. Concrete has a proven lifespan advantage
-standard concrete vs asphalt- Over the typical 20-year life of a parking lot, concrete will have very little maintenance expense while maintenance for an asphalt lot will be as much as 80% of the initial construction cost.

-lower Heat index (yes does make a diff in towns)
-ligher color lower lighting costs (fewer overhead lights needed) and energy to power those lights
shall we go on

-first can we agree on lifespan differences?

Why do you say that? Do you have any info to back up your comment?

this product has very short lifespan... use concrete to make pervious.... short life =alsphalt.... long life = concrete
