You do know the entire production is on a DVD set--each about two hours long. It's a bit different from the RSC's original show at the Barbican(?) but still worth every penny. Check out Amazon or e-Bay.

This is my most favorite stage performances ever. EVER. EVER. What an extraordinary achievement. Simply mindblowing. Thank you for posting this so that we can see a bit of what transpired behind the scenes. I would love to purchase this somewhere. Anyone know if the show is available on DVD in any other form than the A & E, which is poorly edited? Thanks again for posting!!

Without doubt the most brilliant piece of theatre I have ever seen. The writing, directing, acting, design, music, lighting and sound combined together in the most profound experience that, I'm pretty sure, left an indellible mark on all of us priviliged enough to see the original production. Great to see this again - there is a good book on the production by Leon Rubin. Thanks for posting this - many great memories - and thanks to the RSC for having the wisdom at the time to allow filming.
