We first mentioned this car a little more than a year ago. And now here it is…the Renault Twingo RS! This is the first time Renault Sport has added its touch to this compact car, which confirms how much it has moved up in Renault's range.

i love this car. it's either gonna be this or a clio rs when i've finished with college and can get a job. i'm glad they didn't go for a turbocharged engine because it'll be great to tune.

Thanks for a good overview on the Twingo. It didn't do too well on fifth gear's drag test with the arbarth, colt, etc however i'm glad it can redeem itself with such good handling.

my sis has it in white with black rims carbon fiber spoiler and the fog light covers are also carbon fiber, it also has a nice exhaust which costs 3000 and the ecu is unlocked to full bhp

@greatbritainyeah as the engine is not turbocharged or anything, there is a lot of conventional tuning you can do. remapping and chipping are possible as well. just contact your local tuner.

for example, the mini cooper s has a 1.6 liter engine (as well as the twingo rs) and it's charged to ~170bhp by a compressor. there's even the cooper works which has ~210bhp. so all in all, the twingo's engine is a good base to start from...
