  • No one may ever see this post...But here I sit once again crying tears of loss...I knew him, and loved him until, and beyond, the day he died. I have never written anything like this before, and probably will never again. But, I want to thank you for the wonderful tribute. RIP John...words cannot express how you are missed.

  • Don't worry John...nobody will ever have your touch, tone or soul. You'll always be the King of Rock n' Roll Bass Guitar. God Bless! Rest in Peace, my King!

  • That Smile At @1:40 Made My Day :)

Long live rock.

  • This is quite good! Excellent video. It's also good to know I'm not the only one in this world who recognised John Entwistle as a soloist. Actually, of the four, John was my favourite solo artist from The Who.

"Too Late the Hero" was once my personal anthem. Always dreaming of greatness...the ballad for dreamers everywhere...

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!!!!!

  • John Wetton and John Entwistle were easily two of the best bass players on the planet.

  • I miss him still. A wonderful tribute to a wonderfully talented musician.

  • Wow....many thanks for that post

  • Anyone better! Should proof read before posting.

  • Was grateful to get to see The Who when they returned in '97 and the 2000 tour. To see them live and the big thing that sticks out is John's incredible bass solos during 5:15. Greatest and there will never be anyway better!!!

  • OOOhhhh! Amazing Tribute great bass all times.
