Lovely, full, old fashioned sound. I hadn't heard of "Girls Dancing", but must go and learn it now. Are you in London?

Yes, i've now listen to all tunes, not only one time, that's for sure. I have 4-5 favorits that i can listen to for ever. I'v just pick'd up the harmonisa myself, beacourse i've injured both my hands, but i don't think i ever will be able to play this way.

Great playing. The first tune Sonny's Mazurka is called after the late Sonny Brogan a great Box player from Dublin.

Hi
I play Sunny's mazurka on the fiddle but it's prettier on the harp. Thanks.

Hi levinlasse,
have you seen it all yet? There are loads of practice videos on theloveboxquartet2.
Cheers.

It's very rare to hear a solo harmonica performance that could get people dancing. Nice job. I'm impressed. (But consider the state of your room before turning on that webcam for your next clip.)

Thanks for the comments. Watch this space for more solos. I was staying at a friends flat when I made the video, so it was two blokes living in a room the size of a prison cell, though I think it looks worse than it was. Am staying at a new place now, so the backdrop to my videos will be more pleasant. Cheers.

Cheers, it's a Hohner Special 20 in A. Used by blues harp players as the holes are closer together than most harps. John Popper of Blues Traveller uses them to play like an electric guitar. My favourite harmonica is the Lee Oskar as they are slightly wider than most so are good for tongueing styles of playing and they have quite a big sound.
I recommend not buying cheap £5 harmonicas as they don't play very well out of the box, are mostly out of tune and could put a new player off altogether.
