http://www.PureSunscreen.com-Sunburn is caused when accumulating free radicals overrun your bodys ability to eliminate them, during long-term exposure to UV rays. The SPF isn't the only thing to consider when choosing the right sunscreen. A synergistic combination of natural bio-active antioxidants, like those in MelanSol sunscreen, help skin cells keep free radicals in check so you don't burn. MelanSol Sunscreen also hydrates, nourishes and protects your skin. It's a baby sunscreen, an adult sunscreen, and a high altitude tested extreme sunscreen.

  • don't antioxidants break down in the light?

  • The anitoxidants in MelanSol do not break down in the light. They soak into your skin to give skin cells added protection against free radicals that cause sunburn and other skin damage.

  • Dear Jikling,

No. The natural antioxidants in MelanSol soak into your skin to shore up its defenses against accumulating free radicals. The key here is to use NATURAL antioxidants or those that are food grade. MelanSol contains 3 such natural antioxidants that work as an active team to capture and eradicate free radicals that form on your skin. We welcome additional questions.

  • Thank you. Nice tan by the way.

  • Hi I'm a Water Safety Instructor and I have been looking for a natural water-proof sunblock. I am young and want to start now protecting my skin. However, I am not sure if your product will be enough protection for the hours that i work under the sun. I work 4 straight hours under the sun in mid day (once a week for now). If I put another sunblock on top of this one (the i will use as a moisturizer) , will I still get the balancing effect?
