This is the final segment of Dr. John W. Robbins' essay attacking the Roman Catholic teachings found in John Piper's book titled, "The Purifying Power of Living by Faith in....Future Grace" (Multnomah and InterVarsity, 1995). At the end of this segment I challenge Piper to retract his heretical remarks in this book or to demonstrate in published writing just how these remarks are consistent with Calvinism.

John Piper is not a Christian.

He has now come out in support of the Federal Vision heresy. This heresy openly attacks Justification By Faith Alone.

So, John Robbins' essay was absolutely correct, and the reason Piper didn't respond is because he wanted to keep things quiet. He didn't want to disturb the sleeping fools, like you.

Piper is obsessed with WAR (likening prayer to a wartime walkie talkie and saying MAKE WAR on your sins, rather than simply repent) and SUFFERING. He is all for taking risks "for God".

this stuff is clearly carnal, for only legalism and fleshly struggle can result from it.

I hold that grace is name for God's direct and personal activity in our lives by His spirit. reifying grace is absurd and heretical
