My very first figure skating competition March 2008

Decided to upload my first competition because after all that time I've improved so much that watching it makes me feel like I did a lot :D Before you laugh keep in mind that I have skated seriously only 2 months before that competition.

Not bad for a first competition! What level are you skating at? I started taking skating classes (ISI) in January, starting at Pre-Alpha, and passed my Beta test in April. I can't wait for the rink to open up again this fall, and am thinking about doing my first competition later this winter/spring.

@jfluter thanks :) I skate really better now, but I don't have many videos. Last season I competed at Adult Silver level, but I started learning double jump so I'm moving to Adult Gold level next season. It's great that you started skating - it's a wonderful sport and competing is a lot of fun :)

@prittykitty9 haha of course it's not supposed to be slow :D But that was the best I could do back then. I'm still a slow skater but a lot faster that that :D

I'm also an adult beginner skater (30). It's so great to see other adult beginners out there, trying something new!

i never watch my first competition video because i feel like an idiot: "what was i thinking" :D :D :D but after all we do progress anyway
