  • Vagabondsteve for president!

  • TY for your support. Vote Libertarian!

  • I used to live this way.

I am now fearful for acting without thought because I am sick of people looking at me like a weirdo.

My life has taught me to fear this feeling of rejection.

  • I can relate. I chose to embrace solitude & found a new circle of friends (other black sheep). Conformity kills authenticity & sucks the passion out of our soul. I would rather be alone than try to fit in. Disapproval is a reward signal that you're on the right track. Email people on YouTube & Google the social site "Meetup" both are great resources in finding kindred spirits. All you need is a small circle of friends who embrace your eccentricity.

  • this video rings the same bell Brad Blanton talks about in Radical Honesty:

"The power of positive thinking is the biggest load of bullshit of our day. Positive thinking is for negative people. With positive thinking and affirmations, we start from an image of ourselves as flawed, and try to use thinking as a strategy to make ourselves whole. Thinking is not the source of power. Being is the source of power. And in being, we are already whole."

  • Leave life alone, let it be. - ;)

  • That was really insightful and nice.

Something also brought a smile to my face in the end of the video, I had just reached out and put my lips on a fruit to take a bite when at the exact same second you said the word "fruit". I love little and silly coincidences like that.

  • interesting!

  • AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE

  • You say that We have been conditioned to depend on thought and our intuition has been killed and to Just do it. In another post you talked about people who complain. I see these posts as related. You gave an example of waking up in the morning and thinking 'I dont want to go' Basically, don't complain in your head since it lead to procrastination and just act on what you need to do. That can also lead to complacency and just being a zombie. Does 'Just Do it" apply to taking a stand?

  • Thank you Steve. This is so golden. Can I do it? Will I? Or will I continue to be the living dead? I have to jump. I have delayed and delayed and delayed, procrastinated.... I am using you to help me jump. I expect to be able to report good news....

  • When I wake up in the morning, I don't want to go to work. I clean houses and this is not a work of my dream but this is what I do and I tell myself "complaining wouldn't help me". Then I drive to work and listen to Spanish lessons on CD (have learned quite a bit of Spanish this way :) When I clean somebody's toilet bowl I sing. When I hate to do something I try to like it (makes the task easier) Then I come back home after a hard day and am still able to be happy :)
