I haven't seen much of the Jupiter 6 on YouTube or anywhere else so I figured why not. Here is a long clip for serious synthNerds. I tried to get as many sounds out of it as possible in 10min. Be kind. The sound is a bit erratic, but good overall.
@foxfoobar I've been considering both synths, the one thing I don't really have in my studio is a poly analog.. what are your thoughts if you had to pick one (I have a jd800, kurzweil, moog voyager, sh101, CS-10, and elektrons. so I'm fairly well covered with some good bass and digital stuff) I tend to lean towards the jupiter due to its interface and stability. but I do have a lot of roland stuff.
it is the sort of synth that you can start fooling around with lose track of time and end up staying up all night playing it, discovering sounds you or nobody else has ever heard.
And another beautiful piece of analog synthesizer history is in the hands of a collector who has not a fucking clue how to play it...

@kfrausto,i agree with you. i have 3x Jx10's (just incase 1 dies), i own jupiter 4.6.8.
but i love my jx and jp8 the most, i have moogs, 2x oberheims obxa,ob8, prophet 5 and 600 and about 30 others, but i love my jx to death.
this demo of horrid sounds coming from the jupiter 6 is making me ill! its just horrid.
i think i will go and play some depeche mode quickly on my jp's just to get this horrid sound out of my head.
