@eightwillwontcannot analog will never die, but it will become more special. Offcourse some people will live so much in virtual enviorments that mabe their stomach can not accept the real thing. But i promise that the digital blue cheese will taste as good as the original...

@tmtyler Your proposition is tempting and I hope I am wrong regarding its need to occur. Digital immortality, a nice spin on humanistic eschatology:)

Will I still be able to buy delicious cheeses (e.g Blue Stilton) in their physical form after the Information Revolution?

@eightwillwontcannot I plan an "Information Revolution" video - which will hopefully address such questions.

Quite interesting, but rather far fetched when you speak about the digitalization of actual brains. Or maybe not, but I would give this possibility some few thousand or at least a few hundred years to actualize.

@eydos Seen my "Against whole brain emulation" video? I figure digitalization of actual brains will come along rather late. After we have extracted most of the useful information via fingers and microphones - resulting in "interesting" transition times for human personalities.
