President Barack Obama has signed a law intended to provide more protections for a free press around the world. The law, the Daniel Pearl Freedom of Press Act, expands efforts to identify countries where press freedom is being violated. (May 17)

@crashmidget15 we really are fighting terrorist...but its like the war on drugs...its pointless...and id rather we be over there soing sum good than having saddam over there with his dictatorship...all i can say is neither of us are over there so you cant say we are jus there bombing people...and im not fully backing anything im saying but what i will back is that we are there to do a job and leaving at this point would be more problems for american homeland rather than jus troops casualties

All we really started was bombing the fuck out of a bunch of civilians so if we were to finish what we started, it'd probably be genocide. Were not fighting a war, there is no other army, we've occupied a country and they are engaging in guerilla warfare which our troops basically have to patrol around and wait for, the U.S. is going to be attacked as long as it has a presence there because everyone who lives there has probably lost 1 or more relatives to the "war on terror"

I understand what you mean i know it sounds stupid to jus say jus keep em there and continue letting some get killed in the process but you gotta realize on the other hand if we jus leave now there might be a chance "terrorist" will attack America because of the damage we have already done there and in there eyes atrocities that we've commited. thats my best guess why it wouldnt be smart to jus evacuate troops in large amounts anyways. we should have SOME presence.

Obama is in his own little fucking world and he isn't thinking about the LONG RUN of any of his decisions. Oh, and he wants to help small businesses sooo bad yet he just passed a law that any transaction over $600 must require loads of paperwork. He's a fucking idiot, our country is fucked, I'm moving to Canada.
