The Funk Toast Band - Before they were Rustmonster, they were Funk Toast

Many of the Gangrene Productions guys play musical instruments.

The Funk Toast Band featured some of these friends. They played many gigs in the mid to late 90's in the metropolitan Salt Lake area. Most members of Funk Toast are now members of The RUSTMONSTER pirate band.

The following musicians were in the Funk Toast Band: Larry Nybo, Aaron Ozminski, Rob Griffin, Craig Nybo, Dave Checketts, Erik Tordiff, Todd Feeney , Kieth Moon

I remember this well. I "was" Ed the Head, the interviewer. Does that count against my 15 minutes of fame? Good times! I always enjoyed Funk Toast. Any reunion shows planned?

@thisisjims Just for your information, Keith Moon has rejoined the band. We have also reached out to Dave Checketts, but his schedule won't allow it. The lineup is now very much as it was back in the funk toast days: Larry, Craig, Rob, Aaron, Keith, with new players Rick (tenor sax), Nate and Mike (aux perc. vox).

You'll have to come see one of our shows this summer; it's the closest thing to Funktoast I think we will ever achieve.
