President Nixon speaks on the theme of responsibility—for individuals, for America as a whole, and for other countries throughout the world. He mentions the great successes in the American pursuit of world peace. The President emphasizes that without the leadership of the United States, peace in the world would be endangered. Nixon also reminds Americans that in order to be a great peacekeeper among nations, the United States must uphold its domestic responsibilities and work toward progress at home.

  • @RJY4356 Look at the great things that have happened since we opened up relations with China. $700 billion trade deficits, 10 percent unemployment, and poisonous toys. This douchebag took us off the gold standard, gave us the EPA, and the 55 mph speed limit. He got 61% of the vote because the American people were too stupid to vote for George Wallace.

  • Did the zionist shadow government hear this speech and did they get angry when they heard him say......

''we shall support vigorously the principle that no country has the right to impose it's will or rule on another with force''

    wow

    chilling

He is a president of peace. Taken down by FBI and CBS

    And look what happened.

We're not exactly enjoying peace. Are we?

  • so you're saying he did a good job and was liked or that you still like him or whatever? because all i ever hear is the negative stuff and it's nice to get a change. besides i'm not sure if people don't know all the facts or just don't like him or what the it is but i've always admired the guy for what he did with Vietnam even if i guess he shut out a lot of the media. everyone's always ripping on his personality like that's all that matters to speak well and be extroverted or whatever

  • @88mphsss ummm he ended the Vietnam War, opened relations with China and made peace treaties with Russia and was generally considered an outstanding foreign affairs President and a very smart, proactive domestic Presidentsbefore Watergate happened. He didn't get almost 61% of the vote and 49 out of 50 states just because the Democrats sucked that year.

  • what exactly happened for him to get re-elected? don't just say Watergate! just curious if no one cared or did McGovern suck or is it something else
