Peepers are tiny frogs - only 1" in length - which thaw out in the spring after hibernating all winter. Every dusk they start a high-pitched peeping mating call to find a partner. They are nearly impossible to see, but it is quite easy to hear their sharp, chime like voices! You can see more photos and videos at SuttonMass.org. Enjoy!
