0393 KRISHNA STORY -- TADKASUR STORY -- BOON TO TADKASUR

Now the story is diverted to the eldest son of Krishna, named Praduman. He was in the past the Kama Deva who was burnt alive by Lord Shiva. On pleading too much, Kama Deva was granted a new birth in the form of Krishna's son.

To understand this story, let us look at the demon Tadkasur. He conquered the world and trilok by his power defeating Indra. He became the king of all Loks.

The saints and Devas now are in trouble. Hence, they seek help from Lord Vishnu. They approach Him there and soon they realize that Tadkasur cannot be killed as he is blessed by a boon given by Brahma.

Brahma has given a boon that only the son of Shivji can kill him. Shivji is under deep meditation and no one can disturb him. Hence, no son is born and a long life for Tadkasur.
