I have the iPod touch 4 gen got it the week it came out and I havnt updated it yet but every time I try to update it says error even when I try to update iTunes 10 SOMONE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will it work on a 3.1.3 iPod touch that's 8gb , 3rd gen?? Cause i've tried to update it and if works but when i take my iPod from the computer, nothing has updated even tho i have space and it says it's working when I update it on my computer but then it actually hasn't updated!! Help anyone ??

You need to put all your apps on the library for iTunes so they don't get deleted I think.

My version on my iPod touch is 3.1.3 and I'm gonna get my 3rd gen updated I waited for over a year because we didn't have enough storage room to update it on our computer, but now we got a new computer.

mine is a 3rd gen 8gig ... ive her humours that 8 gig has been movedto 2ng gen.., and only 64 and 32 gigs aree 3rd gen... is this truee?

@ilovemusikk4evah You are correct, there is no such thing as a 8GB 3rd Gen iPod Touch. Only the 32GB and 64GB models moved to 3rd Gen status when they received the internal hardware of an iPhone 3GS, the 8GB was sold alongiside with the older 2G hardware.
