Does somebody know the song they are dancing to? (4:30)
-
I like the two women dancing at 4:44; something left over from the Wiemar days, perhaps.

I hate Nazism with a passion. But this propaganda video makes me wish i was there!Berlin looks absolutely beautiful!

Excelent video.

Wow, that's 1936?! It's impressive you can take a totally different perspective of how things went on by then by adding some color to the images.

Though I see Nazi Germany's ideologies as harsh and inhumane, I can't help but have some respect for them. The Nazi Germans were so organized, disciplined, and sophisticated. The entire country was a well-oiled, well-maintained machine. 'Twas only their ignorance and brutality that was the problem.

@ZVEZDAjeZAKON Well, what else could you expect from a Stalin . . .
-
@SatchmoSings +stalin advocated his soldiers rape, once he statted to a local politician on the Balkans "a soldier who fought his way hundreds of miles to your shithole country should allow himself a triffle with local women"

@bodie9991 All I could think of was whenever they showed uniformed or young men, was an image of them lying half-frozen somewhere in The Soviet Union; that and their women being gang-raped by the Red Army as it went West.
For older people, all I kept seeing was a bombed-out Berlin with them cowering just like the rats they were.

@ZVEZDAjeZAKON 2-3 million German girls and women were GANG raped by the Red Army; while I'm sure that Americans also raped German girls and women, it was nowhere near at that level.
As the German girls and women of the time supposedly admitted, "Better to have a Russian on top of you than an American or British over [bombing] you!"
thank you for uploading this clip. I have always wanted to take a glimpse back to the early XX cenutury to see the cities lost to the war. Really sad and tremendously depressing is tha fact of germanies Nazi history, why in hell a nation as advanced as the germans adepted such extreme idiology? I feel remourse for the lost cities, their architecture, atmosphere and heritage. :/
