The Earl stopped at Northampton for water which was done by John again. Then we headed off to London. First castle in euston since the 1920s. Got some photos and then filmed the 47 taking the stock and Earl out of Euston. After 4 hours on London on a very HOT day we left about on time and I managed to get a door to get the climb out of Euston. a long but very good day out

  • glad to see you've found Northampton station, hope your settleing in there, great sound up camden bank, nice video Lou, cheers.

  • Good stuff, nice shots of the Earl at work! Thanks for a great day, with you and Mick.

  • Nice one. That's a like. I especially liked your footage out of Northampton and going through Queens Park at the end. The climb up Camden was very good but some of the sound was masked by the Earl' safety valves hissing. You got a clear shot of how steep Camden bank is though. Thanks for sharing. I'd appreciate it if you could view and comment on my footage of your train zapping past me at Harrow & Wealdstone on the up journey to Euston. Thanks Barry

  • Well done bagging a door out of Euston Lou. Two excellent departures and great sound too. Looks like a good trip. Chris
