lol No thats not it at all! it would be if you used a different type of yarn (Not a different color). In odor for your work to not come out the same you must have made one mitten stickers tighter then the other. People tend to make tight stickers in the beginning then they get loser because you get the hang out it and working with a new pattern. Next time pay more attention to how tight/lose you are working.

@dannelllys4117 Different colors of the same brand come out in different sizes. It has happened to me many different times.

I was just browsing through your videos. I'm glad I listened to the beginning of this one. Your note on how different yarns can bring out a different outcome was informative. I made a kingston hat following your video. The first hat came out perfecto. When I made the second hat, it was gimongous. And even though I used a smaller needle and tried to eliminate a row or two, the third hat came out too big too. I thought I was going nuts  :) Thank you for all of your wonderful videos.

@autumnssummerville You are welcome. You may need to eliminate more increase rounds with your hat. Keep practicing and you will get it.

Hi Teresa, do you turn the mitten inside out when your done?? My half-done mitten looks like yours..... but on the inside, oops :) lol

To the person who didn't believe there could be a difference in different color yarn..I have even run into that same problem buying clothes. Found a great pair of slacks..decided to buy a pair in 3 different colors...behold...only the pair I tried on in the store fit. The other two were either too large or too small. When returning, the sales clerk said that happens all the time. Different colors, same item...etc..different results. I know it is crazy!!!

I've found, with Red Heart, the different colors will have different weights... thicker or thinner. It seems like the darker the color, the thicker the yarn. It's a slight difference but over the length of project, it will show up differently.

Hiii, i know its a pretty silly question but i get so frustrated with crochet sometimes that i really have to ask haha, when you are putting the hook through the single crochet stiches to yarn over, are you going behind the "v" or through the middle? i couldn't work it out :( you videos are amazing by the way, i would have given up long ago if it wasnt for your tutorials :)
