@Jimmyretired: I am sure the ancient Greeks and Romans felt the same way about other civilizations as well. But history always proves that empires fall within. I simply read statistics of North American post-secondary success as well as in England, Indian and Chinese kids are surpassing many other groups when it comes to academic achievement. Their purpose is not to seek power over others, but simply practicing a very important ethic in their culture.
