By the way, I still only see the not-so-motivational-thoughts about bipolarity in this video,
This one shows really great what bipolarity is about.

@iron4us I agree completely, and I'm sorry, i wrote that in that "aggresive" mood, just like you say, and I didn't noticed i've hurted a couple of persons i hang out with (with words or indiference to their problems), I've developed a hate for depression and other negative emotions when i'm Up, and that isn't healthy i guess...
About the point of no return, thank God i'm type II, so reasoning seems to limit or lock my "stunts" well enough
I've always wondered how would it feel to be type I .

@DoulaGarcia God bless you! I myself am BP. It is so unpredictable. Those who choose not to take meds may not have it as severe as others. I know that I am unable to live without them. I wouldn't be alive today. It has been many years since my diagnosis. I have a child of my own and every tantrum every time she cries every time she does something odd I find myself praying that she doesn't have to go through this. You are a wonderful mother!

Hello bipolar fellows. If anyone would like to talk about living with bipolar disorder you can find me on mapofmates . com!

We are actually both the aggressor and the victim it all depends on the mood. An aggressor to society on the highs and a victim to our selves on the lows. Any how it gets ugly... some times to ugly for anyone to bear... Specially our selves who have to live with both sides of it all the time... Cheers!

True... however... when you cross the point of no return and some one dies because of it... then what do you do?, what will they do?, when your lows are to low and you kill your self... what they will do? Nothing much to do there right? The highs and the lows are a gifts of enlightenment but they can also blind you. Beware of it and use them wisely.

@NyorexDC I agree in that I think that trying to live positively is what you should do, but I don't think this video is someone with bipolar "trying to act like a victim". I am very glad this video was made because watching it helped me to understand the reality of bipolar - the bad as well as the good. I don't think being honest about the bad aspects of bipolar is acting like a victim.
-
@NyorexDC it's the degree of bipolar and other mental illnesses you have everything factors into it

@ doulagarcia you must be a great mom because to understand biplolar sometimes is really hard and my mom didnt always when i was little so i applaud you!

@SuperKare123
Bipolar is not just a bad mood, impatience, or moral laziness, it's more than feeling giddy--there are Parents loving & protecting their children who struggle w/ REAL Bipolar, siblings living on a roller coaster, families uncertain. Bipolar is REAL. It's HELL at times. I have 2 Bipolar kids Until you hold them during a hallucination, protect them from themselves, cry, worry, search, find them soaring over the moon or hiding under a rock, you have no right to dismiss this...NONE.

I HATE IT when Bipolars try to act like a victim, you should try living to the limit in the manic phases and try to make music or poetry in the depressive ones, that's what many do, Im bipolar aswell, but im not Self-pity :S thats just.. pathetic, because I KNOW its the hormones in my brain making me think this way, but its not the Truth....
