Success!! We are now pleased to offer an all natural liquid soap that does NOT use borax. It also does not contain coconut oil if that is of interest . Instead of borax we use regular table salt as a thickener. You can find it on our website under our liquid soap link. We have the following scents now available: Lavender Mint, Lavender Rosemary, Lemon Zest and Lime & Sage as well as unscented.

I am currently working on reformulating my liquid soap/body wash so as to use salt as the thickener instead of borax. Will keep you posted.

@ashams22 Thanks for your interest. I am not sure when I would fit it in right now, but I will certainly think about it. In the meantime, have you seen David Fisher's Liquid Soap tutorial on his candle and soap channel on about com site? It's really good.

I am hoping to do some videos from the Soap Conference next week and then maybe a series demonstrating how to use some of my products. Thanks again for watching.

Hola gracias por su informaciòn , si es posible facilitarme la formula de el jabon liquido que contiene borax y es totalmente trasnparente es decir un gel, exelente soy de venezuela y entiendo muy poco el ingles, gracias por su informe y la felicito mil gracias.

Ingestion of only 5 grams of borax can be lethal to children. To my opinion it is extremely toxic. If you would make laundry soap I wouldn't mind the borax... but handsoap?
