Larry had some resevations when I told him they were both going down simultaneously, "I have never heard of falling two trees like this at once before". He seemed to be happy in the end.
Maiden voyage for the little (is this the largest made?) Makita. Liken it - for sure. The chain on this 33" bar was a bit aggressive for the Eucs. The Makita pulled it pretty nicely though.
Thanks for watching!

  • Is that the Makita 7901 or 6401?

  • @zytekfan It says 6401 on the pull starter cover > Little Blue is it's name. I have yet to see the infamous 7901. I sizzed the stump. Gunning lines are dead on.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I put the big topend on my 6400. Pulls a 36" bar in pine for milling easily. I really like these saws -- good bang for the buck.

Oh, and awesome work as usual.

  • is yours a 84cc or the stocker 64 cc?

  • @hotsaws101 Ah, I have a 6401 and it's a fantastic saw. Would like to get another one and upgrade it with the 84cc big bore kit.

I've seen one or two Dolmar 7900s, but never the Makita 7901.

  • another great job Jack.

I'll have to check out your other new vids too..

I only ran a makita once.. nice saw.. do they have good gunning lines?

We'd all like to see some close ups of you cutting those "special" notches and back cuts.. stop playing your cards so close to your vest and give it up Bro At least a little somtin'... In the end all that will be left on this earth is your kids, some hot saws, and these vids. Its a youtube legacy..

Hey, did you see that pine top I threw 23'?

  • Yer the man Jack! I am yet to be disappointed in yer vids!

  • Jack, did you throw a siswheel in that driver?

  • Did I see that right, you back cut and wedged the first tree before putting the face in it ? Or were you just touching up the face cut before finishing the back cut ?
