Nina (Natalie Portman) is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her obsessive former ballerina mother Erica (Barbara Hershey) who exerts a suffocating control over her. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Mila Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her. • ok my head hurts. I have been watching these trailers over and over again to see if I am indeed correct. Did this or did this not have two girls kissing in it!?!?! I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

  • @jessicasilverv13 Kissing is just a fraction of what they do in that scene.

  • Very excited to see this! I love Arenofsky and have seen his movies transformed into dance before (Pi makes an incredible show) so now I'm excited to see the reverse. Oh and I'm a ballet nerd so the fact that there's MAJOR dance talent on display will be awesome.

  • @LittleEmoDancer Several of my friends have already seent he film and absolutely LOVED it! I'm totally jealous of them. But December 4th is inching closer and closer!

  • A journalist/filmmaker friend of mine just saw BLACK SWAN recently. He described the film as "sort of like if David Cronenberg directed a remake of THE RED SHOES". I'm DEFINITELY sold!!!

  • Unfortunately this is the kind of movie that will bomb at the B.O. because audiences are not sophisticated enough to give it a chance!

  • Chills

  • @MarcusHolly If you allowed yourself to be so insulted and sickened by this movie then you seriously need to A- Get a fucking life, and B- Go make a film yourself that will utterly rock the foundations of every arse clenching pretentious bore like you! As for people rolling in the aisles in Philly (as though Philly is the most cultured space of land in the universe) All the reviews from the showings in Philly contradict your totally OTT response to the film. Seriously...get a fucking grip! lmao

  • @jessicasilverv13

It has a full on lesbian sex scene.

    Yea, i know, hot.

  • see my videos there is full lesbian scene from movie black swan

  • BLACK SWAN is total bullshit and an insult to dance. Horrible experience which had the Philly public rolling in the aisles with laughter. I just vomited.

  • @silverberetta17, I disagree, it will not top the box office but it will do well in the top 5 for sure for at least 12 weeks. I understand that audiences are not as mature or intelligent to trully emjoy a complex character film like this one. But the Lesbian angle and the Ballet theme will bring them in, and they will be amazed & happy that they watched it.
