When I first found out about Dylan's heart defect I googled and youtubed. Looked for anything that could prepare me for what was to come. To tell you the truth it did help me very much. I of course still cried like a baby before and after his surgery, but what mother doesn't? I'm extremely proud to make this video and allow other mother's with the pain after finding out about their son or daughter's heart. Thank you for watching =] he's now 2. And a ball of energy.

Az1202 we just had Dylan's 1st Birthday yesterday.. Im very sorry your going to have to go through what i have gone through. But watching other videos help me out so much with everything that i had been through with Dylan. Best of luck to your baby girl when she goes through the surgery :).

Iam 19 years old currently 22 week pregnant with my first child and found out my lil boy has TGA, i am so scared. Ive seen your video and saw what you went through and has really helped me to look forward to my little boys future before and after the operation. Hope Dylan's growing strong and healthy and thank you for doing this video this has helped loads off parents to be less scared and grateful what they have got. Thank you for sharing Dylan s story. My daughter had the exact same surgery when she was 5 days old at sick kids in Toronto. they said she would not likely survive her surgery, and she proved them wrong. She is now 10 yrs old. We are blessed to have our children prove that there are miracles in medicine everyday!
