awesome tutorial. I played with it and didn't get a red cage. I have my object combiend with many other objects. Does it need to be separated and done separately?

I don't like transfer mapping. xNormal is the way to go.

@badATchaos xNormal is awesome! It's real time viewer is closer to more game engines by default. Maya is more complex but it is capable of literally anything with a little scripting, and now that it has full python (including PyMel) built in it is great for anything from movies to games.
A different UI could be made for Maya (more like xNormal), but it would limit other non-game projects. If that's not a problem it'd be an amazing scripting project. A game version of Maya would be sweet!
