  • a right is a claim to legitimate ownership.

  • So it's asking for something?

  • Perhaps he should not have been promoting his show when calling in. But I clearly remember that he repeatedly mentioned his fear that a debate would be damaging the good spirit between him and Stef. He was also very clear about his intentions on being a bit rude when debating and that Stef should accept this if he wanted the debate. Jan clearly had experienced this before and did not want it to happen again, but it did. Perhaps there is a good reason which is why I asked.

  • Stef's so far ahead, tech will have to catch up with him! The "rights" issue is and was one of those brain farc's that we are implanted with, by The State n Family. Kudos to the Stef, for grappeling with this. There are no rights, only actions.

  • "Everyone must have their own principles" "If you're not free then your a slave"

I love it when talking points bunch up like that.

  • Stef, if you read this, youtube: "Emergence: where science meets philosophy". Fun stuff.

  • 1:07:47 LOL

  • 15:20 Of course it´s NOT self sacrifice Stef, if it would you wouldn´t have done it.

  • In James' favour:

At one point he mentioned "permission" (then lost it) but had he stuck with that, he had actually touched on something that could be argued with logical consistency.

If I want to do something to you, I need your permission (or assumed permission) or I don't have the right. Ergo I don't have the right to stab you.

Surviving is not an act upon another person and therefore does not require permission and that is why we automatically have the right to live.

    Right James?

  • Maybe "claim" is the wrong word, lol. I always thought that it meant asserting something, but you're right. i just looked it up in the dictionary and it means asking for something.

Maybe a "title" of ownership would be more accurate. What i mean is that it is legitimate ownership of something.

  • You are given rights by others around you.

Rights are legal and social contracts that we abide by.

If others take "rights" away they have their rights away. In some cases.

Rights are morals and written into law.

If marshal law where decrared your rights would mean nothing.

Our governments are ment to PRESERVE our rights or morals. When you VOTE you vote for public officials that define our RIGHTS by the laws and the morals they preserve.

  • Yes you can. We live in this messed up system, and those programs are paid for with money taken from us against our will. Feel free to take advantage of these programs as they were paid for with your money anyway.
