She only forgot only angelinja Jolie, because Angie is the most hated actress in hollywood (in the actresses sisterhood) because of her hooking up with Brad while he was married. Who doesn't know that, they all hate her and i think it wasn't emotion, i think Kate dislike Angelina Jolie and we should respect that. As person Angie doesn't seem a very nice, but the fact that she was competing with meryl and kate proves that she is among the best actresses these days

I agree with Stephen Graham, what's wrong with being emotional when you finally win an award you've worked so hard for? At least she doesn't stand there like a robot sounding insincere or something. You could tell her speech was genuine. Besides, Kate's the one with 2 Golden Globes and an Oscar, so I don't think 4 women on a TALK SHOW should be saying anything.

Its simple,characters in world war/holocaust movies male or female hav alrdy gotten oscars. Whtr it ws fr best actor/actress or movie/director. Move on, nd jst give it to a new nd fresh character. Isnt it supposd to be based on an excellnt character,not assumin meryl will alwys be nominated nd give hr oscar whn she's 80+yrs old to beat anthr "record". Meanwhile,lets give it to all young girls,or first timers who'll nvr get nominatd.
