yes audiences today don't appreciate the show. they think they are the show. go to any club in the US and listen to the band. the audience could care less. it's about how they look on the dance floor and what they are wearing. Thank god when i played back in the 60s and 70s people in clubs appreciated live acts

Not sure whether you can blame the americans for this... The Retros are a German group (I think) so I would assume the audience is also german. And in their defence the video was taken at long range and the mike was close to the camera so background noise would dominate....but I love the Retromatics, I wish they would bring out a CD
