I don't think I have too many Busch races in my VHS collection, so it's always fun to come across them unexpectedly.
This race was pretty wild, what with not one but TWO "big ones" and one "AIRBORNEZ". In and amongst all the chaos was some pretty tight racing with a fair amount of contact, resulting in some pretty awesome displays of skill.
How about Lajoie racing back from the pits to beat the leaders back to the yellow!! I can definitely agree with the current rules about not racing back to the yellow... now, about him beating the leader to the line on the race's start... ;-)
I did not recall Adam Petty having such an awesome run in this race - the guy wrecked going through turns 3 and 4, but nobody bothered to tell him that... so he kept on going. A great save, and had he not had that bobble in turn 2, the finish could have been quite different, I think.
Rest in peace, Adam. You are missed, and I can't help but think how entertaining the sport might be if you were still in it!
I still think Casey Atwood beats Clint Bowyer in the "upside down across the line" category. :p

@IamTheShermanator haha I can agree with that...
Atwood finished 17th 1 lap down, and Bowyer finished 18th on the lead lap in '07. Advantage, Atwood!
