Thank you! I've been looking for raw vegan cheese that doesn't rely on a $500 vitamix. I have the same little four cup food processor. This gives me hope :-D.

I am back under a new name. My real name is Marissa from NY, and I am trying to get my boyfriend and friends to become more healthy. It helps with depression and brings me tons of energy. I am not a total raw foodist. I eat Sockeye Alaskan Salmon. I heard that the omegas are more easily absorbable. I don't fry or bake oil, I eat mostly raw foods. I feel fantastic. I love daneloin greens.I don't even heat my teasI eat lower sugar fruits mostly. Organic.beans, wheatgerm, buckwheat groats, feel great.

Somehow your other post got deleted...not my fault! Anyhow, I think your diet is fine...get your boyfriend into QUALITY food, no matter what style (vegan, carnivore...WHATEVER). Get him to value quality and get them off of processed garbage. Keep eating the wild foods too...that is really the key. You dont have to be a total raw foodist, I actually think there is a downside to that. Youre own the right track, especially with the low sugar fruits and wild food.

There are some great seed and nut cheese recipes online now...look into pine nuts and macadamias blended with nama shoyu and garlic and lemon juice...use that as a spread and youre all set.
And remember..its about what you do MOST of the time...dont beat up on yourself if you have a little bit once in a while. When and if you are ready to give it up for good, you will. It will happen exactly how its supposed to.
Good luck! Keep us updated with your progress!
