If you speak English-only in that area, well, people look at you as you don't belong there, I remember 3 years ago I had a hard time finding a store in El Paso where to buy little gifts (like shot glasses) with El Paso, TX marked on the gift, or t-shirts with El Paso, almost impossible to find such thing, but everything with MEXICAN Flag... anywhere, everywhere, also local people did not like it when I was asking for TEXAS gifts and NOT Mexican gifts... end of story!

Dude, thanks so much for posting these. I lived there for three years and loved it. Miss it much. Better nightclubs in McAllen but much love in the heart for Brown Town
