How to log into your library account in the catalog (Worldcat Local) OLD

Walkthrough of how to log into your account with HPU Libraries' new catalog: Worldcat Local.

Hi this is Amy Chadwell and I'm going to show you how to log into your library account for the first time and also what to do when you forget your library account password.
To access your account, you can click on "My Account" on the library home page, or when you're already in the library catalog, click on the "Sign In." link next to "your library account."
The first time you sign in, you'll need to click on "forgot my password" to set your password. This is also what you'll click on if you really do forget your password later on.
To get started, you'll need to have your HPU Passport card handy. Look for your ID number on the front of your card - you'll need the first 7 digits - this is your user name in our library catalog.
Enter that 7 digit number from your Passport and click "Request New Password"
Now, check your HPU email account, and you should soon have a new email from donotreply@oclc.org
There will be a link in the email - this will take you to the page where you can set and confirm your new password.
Now, you can log in and see your library account - including anything you have checked out, any holds you've placed, any fines you have and more!
