Atlas HO Scale Turntable

My new Atlas HO scale turntable. I don't know how I got it connected. I'm pretty sure the box didn't have everything I needed because it's hard to hook up. The fact that I have Bachmann ez track didn't help either.

On your channel next to the subscribe button, it says "layout under construction." do you mean your re-arranging the track plan on the current train set, or do you mean you're building a real layout with scenery & stuff? thanks.

What is the diameter of the main spinning part of the turntable and the entire diameter?

Yes there is a moter that goes with it but all the wires and moter comes with the unit but the unit you have to buy it apart from the turn table after all it does say hand turn for this but you can get the $30 some odd $ for the motor to power the turntable you have. The wireing is ok but to turn with the motoer you need a DC controler to power the motor for the turn table. I would put the track on a table and put some adhesive on it to glue the track and turn table down. Make some senry also.

If you want it to electrically operate, you must buy a separate motor from Atlas. This will cost you about $25 from the company, but if you look on eBay, you can get it for less. The motor mounts where the crank is and the shaft of the motor goes into the shank that emerges from that area. Give it a try and it should move without a problem. Great video!
