  • Brilliant. Saw them in the early seventies. Great band. Thanks for posting.

  • No worries... finding these clips aren't easy, esp. seeing as this clip probably hasn't been screened on TV for 36 years. It's taken a bit of digging and good contacts to get access to this clip. Glad you like it! More to come!

  • Really cool, thanks for posting

  • toooooo good

  • Beaut stuff . GTK's are a blast.. (Get To Know) and be blown away

  • Band of Light played at Epping Boys High School in the 70s. Loved it. So sad that Phil Key died too soon. Hope Norm Roue is travelling better

  • I saw Band of Light (and the La De Das) when at Epping Boys High School in the 70s. They played a lunchtime concert. I still emember Norm Roue on slide guitar - a skinny bloke whose playing blew me away. Golden stuff

  • You got that right GTK kicked ass and Oz music was at its highest peak from 1969 to 1973,Meldrum was oblivious to King Harvest,Bnd of Light,Fraternity,Spectrum etc,his idea of progressive rock was Sherbet and John Paul Young,it went down hill with him.

  • I remember Doctor Who, GTK, then ABC News. The rest of me back then , is like all kids now, lost!

  • I don't understand the adulation of Molly and Countdown. GTK was far superior . Pity.
