Chris Rehn is probably the most talented underrated musician there is. the guys is pure Genius.He used to have a actual abyssos homepage. that talked about how him and his brother were trained to be in opera. but now there is just a fan page. Its a shame he never did release the third album. I guess maybe with time. He is in a band with his brother Tom now called Angtoria

This one man, Jez im not entirely sure now but I think it may have been Cynic's Focus as I had a compilation death metal cd and they were on it and was blown away completly "At deaths door" was the name of tha album, still have it.. alot of old school Suffocation and Atrocity etc.. The good old Days! Eventually got Cynic and Seem them last year and met the guys after the gig in Dublin.. So sound and really nice guys and gave me a signed copy of Traced in Air, cool huh

Absofuckinlutly.. "orgasmic melodic black metal.".. I have this album (by mistake so thankfully) for about 8 years ish I think.. I ordered another album in our local "music shop" if it is that at all and The album I had ordered did not arrive.. He gave me this to take home and if I did not want to keep I could bring it back and exchange for the album I had ordered.. Me thinks not!!

This is absolutely orgasmic melodic black metal. A pinch of (old) Cradle, a pinch of Emperor, a pinch of Limbonic Art and pinches of this and that - topped by their songwriting ability... Mood changes, tempo changes, variety, brutality, melodic guitarwork, brutal riff assaults eerie atmosphere...this has it all.
Probably the best melodic black metal I've ever heard.
